What have I written that leads you to that conclusion?

Nah, there is a statute of limitations on relevance, and I think 70 years is reasonable.

Nah, your statute of limitations begins wherever convenient.

Considering that we're in an economic downturn not seen since the Great Depression, that in fact makes 1936 quite relevant.

Well, except for the fact that it doesn't jibe with the way you really want things to be.

See, the thing is that there are a lot of historical trends that are relevant, some boding well for Obama and some not. But you're so fixated on seeing only things that portend a future you prefer, you manufacture an excuse to discard every data point that doesn't fit the picture you want to see painted.

What's it like to live in a world like that? It must be exhausting, having to constantly dredge up reason to ignore this, or ignore that...

Is that enough proof, "shorebaby" If Obama fails, America fails. If Obama is toast, America is toast. Whoever the GOP nominee is and if he wins, do you think he will have a magic wand that he will wave across the land and fix everything our economy will still need to be fixed. smh

Too funny, we'll just have to see what happens in 2012. My bet is most folks will not be too excited to re-elect the guy who presided over 4 years of 9+% unemployment and soaring debt. That may be your definition of success, I'm guesssing most people would disagree with you.

How is the weather in your world? Obama does not represent America. If Obama fails America wins.

Sure he does. He is the President of the United States. If Obama fails, we fail. Of course, the Republicans in congress will do anything including destroying the U.S. economy to try to make him fail.
