Seems to me it's more likely to benefit Obama, contrasting him with the dysfunctional congress.

If I were the RNC, I'd keep hammering on high unemployment. It's risky, because most people still blame Bush and the GOP, plus the economy is picking up. And its a little awkward mentioning jobs when the GOP is actively blocking Obama's employment initiatives.

But really, what else has the GOP got to run on? Protecting billionaires' tax rates? National security? Keeping gays out of the military?

Face it, Reds, Obama's winning the chess match. I see a checkmate in your future .
No, most people do not still blame Bush or the GOP
The GOP has everything to run on. Obama and the radical liberals (communist) are taking us down the path of regime change towards socialism/communism. They have decimated our military and made the USA weak and less able to defend an attack. They have demoralized the population. They have driven our economy off a cliff.
The GOP must now come in ... clean-up and restore our nation before its too late.

Just a really, really good ad here.

I like the last part - the man couldn't be happier the super committee failed.

We have never before experienced, in the history of this country, the disaster that now sits in the Oval Office.
Thanks to the GOP, you know, the do anything to get Obama Out no matter the damage to theNation crowd, the we do not compromise crowd, the we have no real ideas but whine about the other guys ideas crowd. Enjoy your upcoming loss in 2012 and the following splitting up of the GOP

I'll ask again...
Who's brilliant idea was it to create a congressional super committee, to unconstitutionally by-pass congress?
Is it a rhetorical question? Because I did answer. I said it was a bipartisan idea; a stupid one, but one agreed to on both sides of the aisle. Sorry if that's not the answer you want.

How is it Obamas job to lead the supercommittee? These are six ranking members of congress. If they cannot compromise and lead themselves, how can anyone else on the outside lead them? Blaming this on Obama is just childish and totally partisan crap.

What gives you the idea any of that will happen?

Maybe the GOP has been losing elections lately? NOT!

In the 2011 election cycle, the GOP GAINED 26 seats, the dems LOST 23.

The "damage" done to the economy is due to obama/dems 2008-2010 agenda...you know, big old FAILED stimulus, massive new entitlement the country hates that's going to cost TRILLIONS.

In fact, in OHIO, a critical swing state, obamacare went down in FLAMES.

I think you're listening to the liberal MSM too much, instead of ACTUAL elections, referendums, that kind of stuff.
