As a Democrat, the only GOP candidate I fear right now is Huntsman. Thankfully, he's too sane for the current zeitgeist of the GOP.
Oh come on, I know the ruse you're playing. You can't fool us. You want Huntsman because he's going to keep the Oval Office chair warm until a Democrat president comes back from "vacation". You want to be able to sleep at night knowing a weak GOP president is not going to overturn anything Obama did. Like I said before, you want Huntsman so he can keep the seat warm for his Democrat replacement
My first choice is Ron Paul, but I think it's a foregone conclusion that "they" will not let him be elected. My second choice was Herman Cain, who is now kaput. I simply cannot stomach the other contenders - *especially* Newt.
What are all you other Cain supporters going to do now?
According to one new source I head this morning Cain was on the phone with Bachmann just before his speech. Don't be surprised if he doesn't throw his support to her....after he's made a lot of money to pay off his own debts. It would make sense being they are both Tea Party darlings.
Wrong. The Tea Party is NOT endorsing Bachman and was not for Cain. GMAFB!
Wasn't that decision going to be decided by the little talk he is having with his wife over the weekend? Boy, would I love to be a fly on THAT wall.
Herman, during this fiasco, has proven himself to be the master of doubletalk. He will make a statement and then retract it in the same paragraph. It's probably a talent that has gotten him far in business and talk radio, but his wife seems like a smart lady who is not easily fooled.
I wonder how much money he'd spent on that 13 year friendship? How much had been taken from Mrs. Cain's household?
Herman Cain is going to relish his new career as a FOX News analyst. The Republicans are stuck with Mittens, who should give all thinking people concerns as his "foreign policy" team is made up of Bush Administration neocons, who continue to lurk in the shadows and threaten to drag this country back into Fascism.
Newt will probably get most of Cain's votes until he implodes too.
I think there will be a lot of behind the scenes campaigning to get another candidate to join the race, since a lot of Republicans REALLY seem to hate Romney.
If that person never materializes, Romney is the nominee.
If that happens, I wouldn't be surprised if a third party candidate emerges.
