Everything you think you know about Herman Cain is wrong (http://www.northstarwriters.com/2011/12/05/everything-you-think-you-know-about-herman-cain-is-wrong/ - broken link)

I am convinced, that as long as Cain wasn't known by many people, all was well, but the moment he started to gain popularity, the dirt started flying, and probably by the GOP's. He scared them and everyone else, why? Because he didn't do or say what they wanted to hear...he cared about the people instead of the rich...and corporations.

When I first started watching him, I told a co-worker, that if he started to gain popularity, and was legit...they would slander him...and they did.

When I first saw Cain, I thought he was a joke candidate not to be taken seriously.

Then I watched him some more and became completely convinced that he was a joke candidate not to be taken seriously.

Herman Cain appears to be a decent man that was a victim of character assassination by the left and possibly the right. Shame he didn't get a chance. He would've been the first truly African American President. A black man that came from nothing and worked his way up by blood and sweat. What a great role model. I would've been proud to have him as my President. Trying to have an intelligent discussion with a lib is what's a joke not Mr. Cain.

Let's have that conversation right now.

What compels you to believe the allegations against him are not true?

Barack Obama was a joke candidate also, but Hillary Clinton was afraid to upset the black community so she did not go after him.

Interesting article but you have to take it with a grain of salt considering the author has such a close connection and friendship with Herman Cain.

There's so much wrong with your post, I don't even know where to start.

1) How can Cain be a victim of character assassination if the allegations are not true? If he's truly innocent, his character is intact and the allegations would not faze him in the least. If he's innocent, he would simply stop playing a victim and tell his accuser(s) to "prove it." Unfortunately for Cain, it looked like the woman had some convincing phone records to show the affair... not to mention a trip to Vegas together.

2) Who on "the left" was doing the character assassination exactly? It's funny how you phrase it as though it was DEFINITELY the left, and POSSIBLY the right. Bias much? All the tough interviews he's had were on Fox Noise, so that blows your theory out of the water.

3) He would NOT be the first truly "African American President" because we already have one... and Cain himself says he rejects that moniker outright by calling himself a "Black American". How is Obama's Kenyan father NOT African exactly? Are you geographically challenged?

4) "A black man that came from nothing and worked his way up by blood and sweat. What a great role model." Sounds like our current President. Have you seen where Obama grew up? Do you consider that to be some sort of privileged childhood? Get a grip on reality and stop with your cognitive biases.

Hey that's great.

But this is a thread about Cain, isn't it?
