I'll make it less threatening to Paulistas --- Bachmann supporters, list her accomplishments and results of those accomplishments in the same thread.

You know, authoring a bill is an accomplishment only if it's passed into law.

Abraham Lincoln lost numerous elections before he eventually became president. He probably lost more elections than he actually won.

Does that mean he should've given up?

Ron Paul isn't giving up.

Why start yet another Ron Paul accomplishment thread when we already have one going? 88 posts....

What has Ron Paul accomplished?

I sense fear in you, Laura.

So you want Michele Bachmann's accomplishments or Ron Paul's? The title of the thread says one thing and the post says another. Which one is it?

I'm seeing a lot of "referred" and "introduced" in that thread and not a lot "passed." Not an accomplishment unless it's passed.

C'mon, he's been there like a bazillion years. I find it hard to believe that none of the debate moderators in any of these debates have asked the candidates for 5 accomplishments apiece that would make the public think they have whatit takes to be President.

How about this...5 years before the housing bubble, he predicted it and warned everyone...is it his fault that people didn't listen to the logical explanation he laid out? Because other people didn't act on it, and because it didn't result in a bill, you somehow want to discount the fact that the man is obviously very well qualified to deal with one of the biggest and most threatening issues we face?

An accomplishment would be what he did about it.

He did his job, he made the problem known to his constituents, his peers, and the country...not his fault the majority are people like yourself that would rather be negative and write off his logical identification of problems and proposed solutions.

So you think he isn't giving up? What do you think will happen if he doesn't get the nomination this time, have you thought about that and what does his giving up have to do with the question, what has he accomplished?
