Everything O'Reilly mentions is why the ACLU is PRO-American and PRO-Individual Rights and PRO-Freedom.

Is O'Reilly now trying to say that the Patriot Act is "American" and we should all be in favor of it????? Talk ABOUT SPIN from someone who says he doesn't spin.

O'Reilly is nothing but an Anti-American Fascist Statist.

It will help him among those who care about civil liberties maybe, but that's not enough to win the nomination. GOP voters have shown for decades that, for the most part, they either don't care about civil liberties or actively oppose them.

Ron Paul will never be able to deliver on his "fantasies" and those supporters who believe him live on Fantasy Island. Forget the obstructionism that President Obama faced...Ron Paul would receive it from both sides.

His fantasies?

You mean the Constitution that this country was founded on?

Well, coming from an Obama supporter who voted the traitor in office who has walked all over our Constitution, your "ideas" do not surprise me one bit.

Keep in mind that same Constitution, has given you the right to run your mouth without reprecussion.

Maybe, but he can still win the presidency. Most people know or certainly will know by November that they can always write in his name.

Without support from Republicans Ron Paul has zero chance of winning

Jeeeeez, I love it when righties show their lack of critical thinking and prove it by postig such nonesense. The "left" was not using it to attack your new found idol, they were showing it to prove that the right hates the ACLU but when one of you thinks they have found something that the ACLU says that they think helps their idol then they try an use it. The Hypocracy of the right is never ending and fools no one but their own fools.

The Ron Paul supporters scream "the Constitution" as nothing more than a catch phrase...a campaign slogan. There is no there, there.

These people can not provide a single example of President Obama walking all over the Constitution. Yet they scream to the high heavens about the "fantasies" of the King of the Tin Foil Hats aka Ron Paul.

What, exactly, is his path to the presidency? He seems to be uncompromising ideologue with a record of accomplishing nothing and who has just about zero appeal outside his base.

Appealing to libertarian-leaning Republicans (it's not really fair to call Paul a libertarian - he doesn't think the whole constitution should be incorporated, just the parts that he agrees with) alone is not going to cut it.

He can't get the social conservative vote because of his stances on drugs and prostitution. He can't get the neocon vote because of his foreign policy positions. Eliminating those two groups has already sunk his campaign. On the liberal side, his views on equal rights, women's rights, and social programs ensures that he won't be getting their votes.

If all you view things in are just "right" or "left" then you need to broaden your scope of thinking.

It's no surprise that the establishment right is attacking Paul. It is certainly not surprising that the left Obamabots are attacking Paul, simply because he is not Obama. What is amusing is that the left is using Fox News of all things to do this.

And make no mistake, the underlying current of many of these posts are to attack anyone who opposes Obama in any manner possible. The left and you are certainly not discussing any national policies or issues of any type at any time because Obama would lose the election hands down. He is Jimmy Carter II. The lapdog press is busy 24/7 polishing this turd of a presidency. So the only thing to do is to attempt to make all the other candidates look worse.

But many have already seen though that, so the Obamabots are wasting their time. Their posts to discredit Paul or any other opponent of Obama is just wasted time and is for amusement purposes only just to see how far they go. And that is precisely how I found the left quoting Fox News to discredit Paul so amusing.

So I'm sorry you find adhering to the Constitution crazy. Call me crazy for admiring a candidate which wants to get back to following the Constitution more and following a document which has made and continues to make our country great, in spite of ourselves. I don't care. There are a large number of people who want to do the same thing.
