The right wing wants "unity," meaning all right-wingers backing one candidate (probably Santorum), to ensure that Romney doesn't get the GOP nomination.

Any candidate with Dobson ties has no chance whatsoever. When are you non-religious (or don't let religion into your politics) conservatives going to put him in the foreground?
Is this really that surprising? Flip-flop Romney is pro-choice, pro-gun control, is against Reagan, supported Obama's stimulus, supports ObamaCare as a national healthcare program, and calls himself "a progressive".
The only difference between Flip-Flop Romney and Obama is that the Romneytard lies about his views, whereas Obama is a REAL progressive.
I'm not sure why the media and pundits think Romney has the best shot at beating Obama. To me, Romney seems like a weak candidate who is not trusted by his party's base. That's a recipe for defeat.

You have seen the rest of the Republican field, right?
They do have Jon Huntsman sitting there on the bench (in essence). Huntsman could be a very real threat, but he's much too sane for them. So they won't even consider nominating him.
Excluding Huntsman and Paul, can you see anyone there who would actually do better than Willard against Barack Obama?

Santorum or Perry would be harder for Obama to beat. Romney is so wooden and strange when interacting with people, it's kind of creepy.

Yes, an honest politician for a change, Ron Paul. He would run circles around Obama, who will attempt to justify all his policies that work against the security and prosperity of this nation. Paul is the complete opposite of Obama, that would be a historical debate, which I would gladly pay to witness. Maybe toss Newt in there too. I don't think Newt is the globalist that Romney is. Santorum is just a religious control freak.
in not a romney fan. but im not a obama fan, but im not a santorum fan, but im not a perry fan......but im not really a paul fan, but im not really a huntsman fan (no publicity), and i am sure not a bachman fan...... so that only leaves.......nobody?
