Rubio is a one trick pony. He might push FL to the GOP, but in 49 states, he is no factor at all, and possibly negative in swing corridor I previously mentioned.
The biggest problem with Christie/Romney ticket, it may not have the conservative pull so many are looking for right now. I happen to be a huge Christie supporter even though I would like to see him a little more to the right, but I like the way he tells it like it is and seems strong with firm beliefs, but I think someone needs to better balance the ticket. From the people I have talked to and the reading I have done, I think Rubio would be a bigger factor than you might think.

Tropolis: I agree Rubio won't bring a lot of Hispanic votes but he will make some impact and this is what is needed. I don't think there is anyone out there who would bring a huge number of Hispanics over to the right side, but in some states we only need a few more.

rubio also likes rap, which is a huge turnoff to older whites.

i was actually proud of him for sticking with that statement and not just running.

Rubio would bring a lot of conservatives/tea party types out to vote who Christie simply wouldn't.

While he might not help with the Hispanic vote *that* much, he would surely help a little. There will be several states with very slim margins between Romney and Obama. Every little bit helps.

Oh wow...an immediate disqualifier!

I'm sure that's what those older voters will be focusing on...his choice of music.

He had shady dealings re his house and a house for his mother or MIL, can't remember which. He is bought and paid for. You all can have him and a lot of other folks feel the same way. You are hitching your wagon to a falling star. What has he done since he was elected except go around and give speeches.....what has he voted for or against...? "getting his feet on the ground...." bah ! he is being groomed for the presidency because he will be a hispanic that can be controlled.
Um....are these the same Florida voters who elected him as their Senator?

Admit it....you would never even consider a republican candidate, so of course your opinion of him needs to be taken in the context of your support for democrats/obama.

Rubio does nothing to garnish the non-Cuban Hispanic vote.

Cubans get a free pass when they immigrate. Other nationalities do not.
