Not only are his views extreme but I understand that soon news will surface about him being somehow involved in some taxpayer paid sex ring in Washington D.C.

Santorum is a religious extremist, who cares more about creating a theocracy than actually improving this nation. Anyone who votes for him is clearly the same type of person and belongs in the Middle East, not America.
I do, however, expect a gay scandal to emerge in Santorum's future.
I wouldn't go as far as Fiyero but there is a certain truth that those who most strongly oppose and hate on something publicly are often guilty of participating in it privately. He seems irrational in his homophobia which might mean he has some gay leanings himself.

It's a huge stretch, but certainly possible.
Well he seems to strongly oppose sex in general.He seems to be much more fixated on catholic moral issues than even the pope is...perhaps he missed his calling.That hardly makes him gay,or even if he has those leanings doesn't mean he has ever acted upon them.I just don't think making predictions out of thin air is particularly constuctive.If this particular one did it would be pretty funny though.

I don't think Santorum has a gay bone in him. I don't know why he hates and fears the gay so much, either, but he is obviously obsessed with them.
I was stunned when he said he wanted contraception restricted, and that sex should be practiced for procreation more than only pleasure... that really sounds like the makings of an American Taliban to me!
Who, in their right mind, would approve of anyone to intrude on their private lives in their homes, no matter what their sexual orientation is? What would be the next step with this guy? Sex Police?
I asked my neighbor lady about this. She's 79, and watched the debates. She said "Well, if Santorum ever broke into my bedroom, if my husband didn't shoot him, I would! We enjoy our relations now a lot more than when we were young!"
I laughed... and so did she.
