Because of the Nuke scaremongering that's going on right now?

Frankly if most people took a little time to do some research about Iran instead of believing everything Fox and CNN fed them, Iran despite its rhetoric about Israel is a relatively stable nation that won't do anything to get itself wiped off the map. The same can't be said about Pakistan who seems to teeter between hardline Islamic Fundamentalism and a nationalistic military dictatorship who are only all to glad to look for an excuse to nuke India, doesn't help they already have Nukes. Or even North Korea, the less said about them the better. Notice we wouldn't dare touch NK right now and Pakistan is an "ally".

So what's the deal, and how would they pay for this war?

They except Ron Paul all want to show their loyalty pledge to Israel.
Though Our politicians got elected by lobbyists, but they got paid by US tax payers!
How they are so loyal to Israel, It's beyond any comprehension.

b.c they are SALES PEOPLE... they will become indefinitely rich if they start war. Or they like the power feeling of it just as much.

Always gotta have a foreign enemy to be at war against. If we didn't we wouldn't be America.

Lightbulb Why is almost every GOP candidate so eager to start a war with Iran?

Also, war is corporate welfare for some of their big contributors. Halliburton, anyone?

Tax cuts and trickle down. Just like they have for their most recent wars. And just look how well that's all worked out.

Except for Ron Paul, they are all controlled and manipulated by the power elite. Ron Paul scares them because they don't control him.

Pay for it? That's our job. The reason to go to war with Iran is that it would make a lot of money, for a select few. Or, it could be because Obama doesn't.

Drop off the "with Iran" portion of your question, and think about it. War is our historically BEST means of generating income for those in power in the GOP. It's called the industrial-military complex in some circles. There is nothing that gets the economy chugging along better than the manufacture of weapons.

Then there are simpletons like myself that think we should generate the economy with things like clean energy, sustaining and creating infrastructure, education, and developing (rather than exploiting) resources. No quick buck there (that future generations will have to pay for).

War distracts from issues at home and facilitates the consolidation of wealth and power.
