Meaningless for two reasons
1) Statue of limitations is definately over
2) WAS IT ILLEGAL AT THE TIME!!!

Even if it IS against the law now, WAS IT THEN?

Why are you having such a hard time understanding that laws have changed over the last 30 years and it very likely could have been legal then? Hell, we rode in the back of pickup trucks as a kid, but now you cant do that. If I could do it 20 years ago, surely a dog could..

If you read the article, the officer was interviewed at the time of the incident and it was illegal at that time and still is illegal.

So Romney was charged? Surely it was investigated so what was the outcome?

Doesn't matter whether he was charged. He still did it and it shows his poor judgement towards his own pet. Not somebody you'd want to lead our country.

It absolutely does matter if he was charged.

Clearly if he broke the law he would have been charged, if he didnt, then he wasnt. You cant claim he broke the law which is what you are doing if he didnt

Mitt Romney did break the law. He just wasn't charged. He displayed cruelty towards animals.

Hell romney should have shot the dam dog and be done with it.
Safer then having some lefties digging around like rabid dogs for any type of dirt to distract away from the unconstitutional and traitorous behavior of their great orator. Same with terrorists. To avoid all the squealing about gitmo just interrogate em on the battlefield and put a bullet in their head. At least then you won't have to worry about Obama letting em back out to try and shoot you again. He just let three more go too.

No need to spin to suit your needs.....it is VERY clear in the article that the cop was given a description of the events that happened....he was NOT there when this happened

Mitt Romney still strapped his family dog to the roof of his car for 12 hours and admitted it.
