If you can't even get on the ballot of a State you are running for President.

What kind of President would that make?

If Paul failed to get on the ballot, i can't imagine the headlines that would be written by the Collectivist Media Machine.

Well now Paul can go head to head with Romney and everyone can see what happens with the rest of the gang not on the ballot.

Either way this whole thing stinks: the law is rediculous and I don't blame Newt, Huntsman, Perry, etc but on the other hand, they should have known going in what the requirements were or are.

Not to Virginians, 10,000 signatures doesn't seem unreasonable.

Why is it ridiculous that names/signatures on petitions be valid?

i am not saying they shouldn't be valid, did I say or even indicate that? I am saying there should be no requitements such as signatures to be on a ballot, and didn't I also add, those who did not qualify knew the rules> I wish you wouldn't take what I said out of context or I guess I should say spinning what I said..

NO requirements to be on a ballot?? You're kidding, right? If that were the case I think the ballot would look more like a phone book...LOL!!

No requirements? You are kidding right? Every candidate knew the rules and if they didn't follow them then they do not deserve to be on the ballot. Maybe if Newt had been following the rules instead of doing a book tour then maybe he would be on the ballot. Perry is just an idiot so he doesn't deserve to be on the ballot anyway. Hunstman just doesn't have the finances to compete right now.

Some times the special people think they don't have to follow rules, so they don't bother looking in to them.

Maybe all the States should have these requirements.

How can they run the US if they don't even know how to get elected.
