Unfortunately they don't use your conspiracy theories to decide who won, so no he didn't win Maine or Nevada.
The votes were thrown out in Iowa. Ron Paul will get those delegates. The Maine primary caucus hasn't been finished counting. There was fraud in Nevada. Ron Paul gets most of the delegates in those states as well. He will have the most delegates by Super Tuesday.
very interesting, sweet to have confirmation. Recently, our gov't has made it more difficult and discouragingly expensive to have documents declassified, so they can be obtained thru the FOIA.
No matter where Dr. Paul lands in the final tally of delegates at the convention, his campaign has been (and continues to be) very interesting to watch. He is truly re-educating American of all generations about liberty.
I'm still sold!
Of course, if it's one of the other R's, my vote will easily go to Obama again.
What is your rationale? Ron Paul and Obama couldn't be more different, they are complete opposites.
As for how the delegates work. It varies. In some states the delegates are bound. Meaning they have to vote for the winner at the convention. After the first round of votes if no one has the 1144 needed those delegates become free and can vote for whoever. So like in my state Florida. Which is winner take all Ron Paul could get delegates from here at a brockered convention. I have applied to be a delegate. If chosen I will go to the state convention where usually you know who is for who and we will vote for other RP supporters to be delegates to the national convention. The more delegates from precincts like Dr. Paul is picking up in caucus states the greater chance they will make it to the state then national convention. Where they can vote for him. Some caucus states the delegates are unbound meaning they can vote for whoever not just the winner of the popular vote. So Ron Paul could come in 4th in a state yet still pick up delegates, case in point Colorado. Or he could come in 2nd yet get more delegates then the winner, Maine and Minnesota are possibilities.
I love how people say that Paul is unelectible but Santorum can beat Obama. Give it up. Sometimes I think they want someone who Obama can easily beat. Santorum got on national television and said that homosexuality was like man on dog sex. He also voted for no child left behind, he has flip-flopped on issues and he was fired from his previous elected position. I suppose I shouldn't put anything past the American people after GWB, but if anyone is the least electible, it's Santorum.

neither one can win and it is unlikely either will get the nomination, so both sides can give it up.
