I'm in Ohio so we where part of Super Tuesday and today when I'm out walking my dog; I walk past where our polling / voting location is as it's right in the middle of my neighborhood. I notice what looks like a bundle of receipts on the ground, outside the building I voted at yesterday. I waltz over and there it is, printed ballots with all the tally counts etc.
What do I do? Throw them out? Who would I contact to pass them on? Seemed really odd they where just sitting on the ground outside. Any advice would be appreciated.
sorry, misread.. voted yesterday, found them today! got it.
You have to assume they were counted.. so I would guess you could toss them otherwise, I am at a loss with what to do with them..
I just went back to the administration building and the women at the front desk "Oh, a student found those, I told them just put them by the door. We usually just attach them to the door and 'they' come pick them up." Seemed too casual about the whole thing for me, but maybe like previously said - already counted so likely a non-issue. Anywho, I passed off the responsibility.
You didn't happen to find the 8 precincts still missing out of Iowa did you?
