Many outlets are reporting again the same thing we have been hearing throughout the GOP primary season, horrifically low turnout numbers.
I think this is a great sign for Obama that the GOP voters are sick of the 3 ring circus going on in their party, and will just end up staying home on election day
"Statewide, Romney got 67.5% of the vote in what was the lowest turnout in Connecticut since the current primary system was introduced in 1980."
"The only thing missing from most polling places Tuesday were the tumbleweeds. To describe turnout as a trickle would be generous"
GOP Primary turnout was lowest since 1980; Darien saw 12.2% vote | The Darien Times (http://www.darientimes.com/news/darien-features/local-news/5002942-gop-primary-turnout-was-lowest-since-1980-darien-saw-122-vote.html - broken link)
What would be the point (of turning out)? It was pretty obvious at Iowa that the Establishment had rigged the primary process. It only got interesting when Santo and Gingrich wouldn't play along for a while.

I agree. If Ron Paul is cheated out of a win, I'm either writing him in or staying home. I'm never voting for Romney or Obama.
Of course turnout in NY was gonna be low, everyone else but Romney already dropped out except for of course Our Fiscal Lord And Savior Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

So what you are saying is that this election is very similar to the 1980s elections?
Guess what Tempest, Reagan won 1980's election against Carter in a landslide, with 489 electorial votes to 49
Guess another one of your theories go down the drain.. /thread dead
I stayed home, myself. Romney's candidacy is inevitable.
Ron Paul is a good man and a Patriot, but when he discourses on foreign policy and says that letting Iran have nukes is no biggie he sounds like a looney. He has about as much chance of being nominated/elected as Daffy Duck.
You keep holding onto those hopes and dreams, the rest of us will continue to enjoy the GOP trainwreck
The only trainwreck I see is the economy. Remember what Carvile said, "it's the economy, stupid"
