I'm immune to the Oblama campaign's lies and misinformation. Long ago I realized that all those people do is lie.
So yes, I am still voting for Romney. This country needs real hope and change.
Lol, I may be voting for Romney, but I'm not going to get suckered into "real hope and change" because Romney is anything but. Only reason why I'm voting for him now is to prevent the SCOTUS from having another Elena Kagan appointed and confirmed. Other than that, very little, if anything, will change for the better. DC Politicians will always be DC politicians
My first choice and my second choice for GOP nominee didn't win. That doesn't automagically transform Barack Obama from a failed president to a wonderful one does it?
Gas prices are still high. The economy is still a complete disaster. Obama said he could fix both of these things and didn't. A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote of no confidence in Barack Obama above all else. Why shouldn't I vote against Barack? What has he done to deserve another 4 years?
Unfortunately, that's it in a nutshell.
I have many times said I would never, ever vote for Romney.
I will. I'll eat my words and vote for anybody who is running against Obam.

That's enough of a reason for me to vote for Romney.

Same here. I may not have been a Paulbot, but I was a supporter nonetheless. However, you're right. I'm going to take nmita's advice, and just rally behind Romney. We can't afford to be fragmented. The election is too close for that, and Obama would be far more damaging than Romney could be

Horrible reasoning to vote Romney, or for any candidate for that matter. Some people really just don't get that these elections have some importance and should actually be taken seriously. It's a shame how many voters are just like you.
For me, right now, the only good thing Romney would do is to ensure a conservative SCOTUS stays. I don't like the guy at all, but I like less the idea that Obama might ram through another liberal activist judge to the SCOTUS. That is way more damaging than Romney's support for carbon taxes and the like
So Obama pushing through a "liberal activist judge" is not okay, but you voting Romney because he would push through a conservative activist judge is fine?
He has mentioned before he will support the eventual republican nomination. There is a saying that someone who disagrees with you 30 percent of the time is not your enemy. I wonder how that changes when the disagreement level is closer to 75 percent?

I see the upcoming election this way, for what it is worth: Many say the candidates are just alike, I think not. I do agree we may not see a lot of hope and change, but the country will be better run under Mitt than Obama. There will not be as much money plucked down for every government assistance programs, we stand a chance of some real reform in the SS plan and there is every reason to believe more people will be put back in the work force. That is enough for me....
