If anything, goofy paranoid threads like this one are just another example of how increasingly shrill and hysterical the wingnuts seem to have become lately, especially ever since Romney has been (successfully) put on the defense re: Bain and outsourcing.

Exactly. These kinds of events are planned weeks in advance--there is no way they were thrown together in the last 24 hours to "take advantage" of the shooting, as the OP is seeming to imply. So basically, the DNC planned a voter drive around a popular cultural event. Wow, what a .... non-story.

Please, don't insult the OP's intelligence by claiming that capitalizing on the tragedy had nothing to do with his/her choice of the title of this thread. Do you honestly expect anyone to believe that the OP didn't realize that people might, just might, associate the use of the title The Dark Knight Rises with the shooting? Democrat machine is actually gearing up to use the movie release of The Dark Knight Rises as a tool to further hammer Mitt Romney.
Team Obama's gearing up to capitalize on the release of the final Batman movie Friday. In case you're unfamiliar with the story line of the movie, Batman will be facing his arch nemesis.
The symbolism in the movie would actually be something the liberals would not like at all. The Bane character is very symbolic of the idea and attemp to make everyone equal and taking everything from the successful, 'rich' folks. Of course, in doing so they are going to destry Gotham completely. Batman has to save Gotham from total destruction.

When someone tells me they have to go to Columbine, I'm not going to be thinking they are going there to be shot. When I hear people are from Waco Texas, I dont think they live in a compound, just like I dont think those that live in Oklahoma are all anti government and want to blow up buildings.

Im not saying that but if someone said im going to Columbine, you would think "Oh ya the shooting took place there" immediatly, not "oh no, hes going to get shot". The Movie will be more assoiated with the attack, than something like a bogus Obama attack ad.
