Democratic one party rule does cause disaster. Perhaps we could have fiscal responsibility with a republican white house, senate, and congress.

History says otherwise. Republicans just spend money on different programs like DHS and Defense while refusing to raise taxes to pay for the additional spending. When times are good tax and spend is far more fiscally responsible than deficit and spend.
