Daniel Halper has called attention to Nancy Pelosi’s remarkable interview with Al Hunt on the topic of Barack Obama and Israel. I’d note one comment in particular: Pelosi’s claim that President Obama “has been there [Israel] over and over again.”
If you read the quote IN CONTEXT, it is obvious that Pelosi is NOT referring to THE NATION OF ISRAEL, but Obama's returning to his policy of military and intel support for Israel vs Iran, " over and over again".
But I know Wingers fricken' HATE context... Their minds can't handle it.
So Bill Kristol and Daniel Halper, both seasoned veteran journalists, are both wrong about what she said?
Seasoned journalists? No, they are partisan hacks that will spin things to support their ideology. Especially now that we are in the election silly season, belief trumps truth.

What have we ever gained for supporting Israel? They're just a big pain in the tuckis; our relationship with the Arab oil producers would be much smoother without them in causing all kinds of problems. Let the Palestinians have their rock back.
Whether they are seasoned journalists, or partisan hacks does not change the truth that our President has not been to Israel since he has been in office. Israel has long been our outpost, and agent in the Middle East. I shudder to think where we would be without their partnership.
As for what goes on in Ms Pelosi's head, I suspect all of the facelifts and botox are taking their toll.

Kristol is a political analyst and commentator and founder and editor of the The Weekly Standard.
Apart from being a journalist, which implies objective reporting, Kristol has a conservative agenda and promotes that agenda regardless of objective facts.
The fact that Kristol spins a statement to what he wants you to think it means, instead of what it actually means, is not news. That's what he does.
Kristol was the #1 cheerleader for the Iraq War.
A little advice, don't take anything William Kristol says at face value.
On the statement,

It's like you guys on the right expect the words used in an interview to meet the same standards as fine literature.
You guys are so anxious to catch a Democrat in a gotcha, that you obsess about a minor phrase as if it has any consequence at all. Who cares if Obama went to Israel or didn't go to Israel?
It was clear to me that Pelosi was talking about the policy and not physically going to Israel but if you think she said something else, what difference does it make? I wish the right was so emphatic about truth when Bush said (falsely) in the prepared State of the Union address that Iraq bought nuclear material from Niger. Of course, they couldn't be concerned with that baldfaced lie.
