It was a rare reflection by Mitt Romney on his life as a young Mormon, offered as proof to struggling Americans that despite being born into privilege and amassing a $250 million fortune, he too had known hard times.

Why does he lie about so many things that are so EASY to check? That's what I don't get about him...he's got to know that this type of stuff is going to catch up with him.

Because he's not used to being challenged, to being questioned. As a son of privilege and a corporate executive, he's used to being deferred to and pandered to. He really doesn't understand when people ask impertinent and rude questions about what he's said.

They're supposed to stay in their place! How DARE they question him!

I didn't start blasting Mitt until someone accused me of making up the Mitt Romney Robocalls thread.... said I was Anti-Mitt and there were no roboballs. Basically, they just said I lied to make Mitt look bad. I even recorded it and posted it on Youtube. They said it was fake. That made me mad.
So, I figured, if you're gonna be labeled.. might as well be labeled. The more I research about him, the more I see he's a weathervane.

If he gets elected, which way will the wind blow?

Romney is such an inveterate liar its embarassing. Mormons who go on missions generally raise the money themselves and sometimes get $ from the church if they're going to an expensive area to live like Tokyo. Mitt just had Pops write a fat check and he got to live in a castle.
