Advertisements

Heard it was just aired in Ohio. Obama could put a stop to that ad if he wanted to. He knows it's wrong but obviously refuses to put a stop to it. He wants that false message out there no matter what the facts are. How dirty can you get?

Hope and change? I almost feel sad for you suckers that bought into this man in 2008, except that some of you are pathetic enough to do it again.

Repeat it enough times and it becomes the truth.

That's the philosophy.

Also says a lot about character, or rather lack thereof.

Lets put up some of the dishonest and disgusting ads Republicans run since the right wing trolls here seem to think the GOP are saintly

Jesse Helms "Hands" ad - YouTube

Harold Ford...Call Me - YouTube

Swiftboat Veterans Ad on John Kerry - Sellout (2004) - YouTube

Hilarious!

A wing-nut arrogantly condemns President Obama for not ... violating the law by coordinating with the SuperPAC running the ad in question!

You're a fool if you think they didn't know or if you think they could shut it down if they wanted to. They already got caught lying about what they knew, what makes you think they didn't know more?

He could speak out against the ad publicly. But, you are correct, he cannot legally coordinate with the Super PAC.

Now this is an A-1 job of deflection and you deserve a medal if the leaners are handing them out. If you haen't understood that this ad is pure lie and that although the Obamas could stop it they know it works for people like you so they let it run and make sick excuses about not having the power to control things like that.

Are you trying to say that just because these people did it many years ago it is ok for the Dems to play the game now.

Well Buc, this is why we don't want SuperPAC in our elections, not because rich people shouldn't be allowed to donate as much money as they want, but because a SuperPAC doesn't work with a candidate and can play ads like this all they want. It is also why Romney can play the "play nice" card because he knows the SuperPACs will do his dirty work, much like what Obama is currently enjoying with this.

Sure Obama could condemn the ads, but that would get a brief news spot, but a SuperPAC can continue to run negative ads all they want even if they are false because they don't need to be held accountable for anything.

So when Americans want to get rid of SuperPACs, you should stand with us in support.

But the White House did coordinate with the SuperPac.

Obama camp denies knowledge of cancer tale it told in May | The Ticket - Yahoo! News

Oops? President Barack Obama's re-election campaign washed its hands Wednesday of an independent group's vicious (and misleading) ad effectively blaming Mitt Romney for the death of a laid-off steelworker's wife from cancer. Campaign officials flatly denied any knowledge of the facts in the case—but it turns out the widower told the same story on an Obama campaign conference call in mid-May.

Where does it say the woman can't tell the same story more than once? So no laws were broken, just more reason why SuperPACs should be illegal.
