Why the Weak Economy Doesn't Doom Obama | RealClearPolitics

Quote:
the economy isn't as bad as it was in 1980, or even in 2008. Yes, the recovery is weak, and is weak enough to endanger Obama's re-election bid. But it is still a recovery, and might be strong enough to re-elect the president.
Of course, every Rightist here knows that RCP is infamous for its doctrinaire moonbat leftist propaganda, so when Sean Trende says something like this, just pretend it's Hanoi Jane speaking and ignore it.

Poll after poll after poll shows people think Romney does not care about them and don't think the economy would do any better with him in office than Obama. The people are wise.

I read it this morning and it was a good piece. Objective analysis something in short supply in the MSM.

Romney has work to do and he is doing it.

Flip-Flop Romney's main argument is "I know we're in a recovery, but elect ME and the recovery will be faster!"

Pretty lame if you ask me.

Just because we are not in a recession certainly does not mean we are in a recovery. If Mitt is saying that, he is dead wrong.
