Reading the US Constitution, there is no "separation of church and state". I did see that Congress cannot make law endorsing a religion, establishing a state religion, or restrict people's free exercise of religion. But nothing to do with "separation of church and state".
The constitution states that people are free to believe or not to believe. Also it says no where that the bible is the law of the land to be forced on people.
Can you imagine what would happen if lightning struck the crowd, or a music act, or the President? You can't take that chance. You have nothing here, wingnuts. Go crawl in a hole and cry. This election is over for you.
I posted the weather forecast on Monday when there was talk of them moving Obama's speech indoors.
Thursday night had the BEST forecast of any night all week.
I even commented that you wouldn't cancel a concert or sporting event with only a 20% chance of rain (which is what it said then).
Show me that post. I saw 40%. But even with a 20% chance, when it is your big night, and your candidate is giving his acceptance speech, you err on the side of caution. And from what today's forecast looks like, with scattered thunderstorms possible throughout the evening, I'd say they made the right call.
Now go and start six more threads and hope people will be distracted enough by the sheer volume of your noise not to call you on your lies.
