What does he have on his record besides making money. I watched the RNC but still have no clue on his assets to be President.

Mitt Romney asks people Do you want smaller govt? Send me $5. But he has indicated he wants lots more wars! How do wars make the govt smaller? Both Obama

Mitt Romney, it has been said, was a bully as a young person. I think I see evidence that may still be the case. The wars he wants. Also, the war on some drugs (war on millions of Americans). The #1 request at whitehouse.gov re-legalize cannabis ("marijuana"). When someone asked Romney about it, he sort of blew up & said he would never make it legal & asked aren't there any important questions? If he actually knew anything about it, that would be like saying to us he doesn't care if we're sick and die. Cannabis has 126 medical uses. Cannabis oil cures cancer, was sold in pharmacies until made illegal in 1937.

Gary Johnson cares about the 100% equally, and his issues positions are great IMO. He is so fair, hard-working, abnormally honest, calm, listens to everyone, & sides with the majority on all issues. He has no hate. Very smart & enjoys difficult challenges. He wants us to get all of our Constitutional freedoms back & he's very frugal. As popular 8 year guv of NM, he inherited a deficit, vetoed 750 bills, cut taxes 14 times, and left the state with a billion dollar surplus. Please visit garyjohnson2012 dot com

The premise of this thread highlights what the GOP has done wrong. As Republicans, we have lost control of the narrative and allowed the Democrats to make this election a referendum on Romney. It is not - it is a referendum on Obama

If it's become a referendum on Romney it's because there has been no specificity as to what his presidency would look like in contrast to Obama's. You can't ask people to vote against Obama without knowing what they are voting for.

Did you vote for Obama in 2008? He had no executive experience and no foreign policy experience. Right now we have budget woes. Don't you think someone who has had to develop a budget, execute a budget and deal with problems related to a budget is better equipped to handle the country? What about job creation experience? Obama have any experience with that before he became president? What about crisis management? Business owners have to deal with major problems all the time. Obama never even ran a lemonade stand.

Did you know the President changed his tune on handling foreclosures? That's what happens when you elect someone with no previous experience running anything. Every tactic is worth a shot. That's why, for example, you get Cash for Clunkers benefitting foreign automakers (41%).

Or Obama declares a moratorium on drilling in the Gulf, without any Department doing an impact study on how it would affect businesses in the area according to Obama's guy's testimony before Congress. C'mon, that's Business 101.

Or, Obama pushes electric cars out of one side of his mouth while the other side is telling people that under him electricity costs will skyrocket.

Or Obama promises to put the coal companies out of business apparently forgetting their connection to electricity.

Or Obama declares war on the Chamber of Commerce, a group he should be meeting with regularly on what it takes to get businesses to hire.

Or Obama finds out 1) " Shovel-Ready is not as Shovel-Ready as we expected" and 2) if he would have cut every unemployed person a check for $100,000 instead of signing the so-called stimulus, taxpayers would have come out ahead by $427 billion dollars.

Or Obama gives a solar panel company (Solyndra) a $535 million government-backed loan with the help of the Obama White House, and over the objections of federal budget analysts, and then it goes belly up and they all go "DUH!"

Or Obama pushes electric cars people aren't buying (Chevy Volt sales expectation 10,000, sold 7,600 in 2011, with 45,000 the goal in 2012, sold 600 in January and 1,000 in February).

Or Obama pushes though Obamacare and don't make the connection with businesses not hiring and when time and time again, people thru polls have told him "jobs" should be his Number One priority.

Or Obama gives money to Brazil to do the exact same deep sea oil drilling he forbid in his own country.

Or Obama establishes his own committee to tell him how to get a handle on the national debt and then ignores their recommendations.

Or Obama sends his NLRB goons to manage Boeing's expansion operation into South Carolina because the union thugs in Washington state have him in their pocket.

Then while African American unemployment is a sky high 14.4 percent, Obama decides not to enforce laws related to illegal immigration (because heck, the black vote is a given no matter what he does but he better get some more Latino votes).

Or did I mention the suggestion Obama made of people not going to Vegas? Yeah, don't spend money in that state.

Or Obama decides to "stimulate the economy" by actively encouraging more people to go on food stamps. That's not stimulating the economy, that's stimulating Democrat voting.

An experienced and successful business man would do better.

And, I sure hope you don't live in the suburbs because if he's re-elected you are going to see the real Obama agenda.

I voted for Dr. Paul in the primary, but Romney is the candidate and I cannot imagine another 4 yrs. under Obama, the Oligarch. In Romney, I see a successful, family man. I see a man who has faithfully served his church his entire life, giving and caring for others, years before any of his actions were reported in the media. I see real people who have come forward to praise Romney's character, not phony, airhead actresses. I see a man who truly appears to be humbled by the support Americans are showing for his candidacy, not an arrogant, angry man who expects people to swoon at his mere presence. Romney is a businessman, not an ideologue.

Do I agree with Romney on every position? No. GJJG2012 brings up the War on Drugs which I agree, is a more failed war than Iraq or Afghanistan. Has Obama legalized marijuana? No, he has not. And wasting your vote on a nobody like Gary Johnson is simply a vote for Obama. But the only way to put the brakes on this rapid decline into socialism and bankruptcy is to vote for Romney/Ryan.

It's not a referendum on either. It's merely a difference of two different proposals. Mr. Romney proposals says that the nation would be better if we lowered taxes on millionaires and billionaires; cut regulations on corporations; slashed programs for poor people; turned Medicare into a voucher program and increased defense spending. Note that this plan increases the deficit widely.

Mr. Obama believes that taxes on those who have benefited most, the rich, should rise modestly. He also believes that middle-class programs shouldn't be sacrificed to lower taxes on the wealthy; defense spending should be decreased modesty and we need more federal intervention, such as his Jobs Bill, to reduce unemployment. His plan, according to analysts, lowers the debt.

The choice is a very clear choice between different policies.

I could also throw in that Mr. Romney's party, if elected, will be hostile to woman's issues and will also try to repeal the ACA, which not only saves the government money, but also brings health care to many, including children 19-26 whose parents want to keep them on their employer's health plan. That was a biggie for me.

You're asking what Romney has done?
Seriously?
I don't even like the guy that much, but geezus...Obama hadn't so much as run a popsicle stand when the country got all 'hope-change' crazy in 2008 and voted him in. Zero experience doing anything!

Vote for Romney to keep taxes under control and to get rid of Obamacare. That is why many people who don't otherwise care for him are voting for him. Not because they think he's super great or anything.
