I'm interested to see what conservatives, tea partiers, libertarians, etc., basically those on the right, think the federal government's role for education should be. What do yall think?

Dunno, but I wouldn't expect much from the kinda folks who use derisive phrases like "educated elites" and who fought student loan reform! My sense is they probably have the same problem with guv-mint involvement in education that they do with everything else. Keep the feds out of it... so their friends in business can continue to make a buck!
