I kind of like Biden as he sometimes says what he thinks even if it's not politically correct. For example his recent statements of how bad the economy has sucked for the last 4 years. And then somebody told him that he & Obama were the ones most in control.

All I can say is that it's going to be so one sided that I'm actually going to pity poor Joe up there.

Uh O

I wouldn't be too empathetic towards Joe just yet. He's a veteran debater with plenty of experience and knowledge on the issues, while thus far Ryan has skated through this thing on half-truths (I'm being generous with the "half") and his budget plan which is proving to be pretty unpopular when dissected, and apparently is not a budget plan shared by his presidential candidate. It should be at least as entertaining as the last veep debate

I think Joe is up to H in Alzheimer. He tends to get confused as to which team he is playing for.

Ryan isn't exactly a mental giant. He admires a writer that would dislike him. Biden will do fine, given the Conventions he did far better than Ryan...

Lightbulb Just imagine how bad Ryan is going to beat Biden. Cruel & Unusual?

You conservos are sure amped up after watching Romney repeat his well-rehearsed lines last night. The fall back down to reality may be hard for some of you to take, though.

Biden has been winning elections since Ryan was being toilet trained.

Ryan is going to school Biden just as badly as Romney schooled Obama. Biden is beyond a bumbling idiot.

This could be interesting. Biden may not have the natural intelligence but he has a likeability and kind of charm AND years of experience. Ryan is kind of young and idealistic and very conservative. Can we get Lehrer to host this one too? Come on -- these debates are only interesting when the moderator's performance or lack thereof adds some interest.

Biden is his own worst enemy. How he has a career in politics is beyond me as he seems to have a serious case of "foot in mouth" disease.

Ryan is a very good speaker and seems to know the numbers incredibly well. It doesn't take a genius to see that Ryan will more than likely defeat Biden. That being written, the polls indicated that people thought that Obama would win last night's debate and we all know that was not the case by a long shot. So Ryan needs to be prepared, know his facts as usual and pretty much put forth a strong platform such as Romney did last night and wait for Biden to cut his own throat.
