Tired of it's outsized role in deciding national elections. That is why we are forced to hear all the protectionist bullcrap which neither candidate believes. Florida is a better "decider"or Colorado, states where people move to,not away from.

If Romney loses Ohio, it will be almost impossible to win the election.

Yes, Ohio is such a declining rust-bucket state that has dwindling population and importance.

Not to mention a load of entitled union ogres who deserve to be dealt a loss. So, yeah, I hope the winner loses Ohio and Wisconsin to boot.

Sour grapes. Looks like you guys are already expecting Romney to lose Ohio.

If Romney loses Ohio, he is pretty much teabagged. He's going to need a miracle to win, not saying it can't happen, just unlikely.

LOL! I think you are simply joining the lying crowd of desperate Dems with that one! Notice we were pretty neutral toward the candidates in the thread.

It's simply a diss of Ohio. Sorry if you live there.

Not really. Assuming he wins NC,that gives him 206. If he wins Fl and VA,that gets Romney to 248. Now,a combination of Colorado(9)Nevada(6)New Hampshire(4)and Iowa(6)gets him there. Now,is it a lot easier to just win Ohio, yeah. But it is not out of the question to do it without them. That is not even counting an upset in say,Wisconsin or somewhere else.

BTW,is it really good to have an area of the country on the decline deciding elections?

I think Romney has a good chance to win Ohio. He owns the machines, remember? No,really I think he can win there. Just sick of Ohio,Ohio,Ohio.

Believe, we're tired of the attention. You can never understand the oversaturation of ads. It is like the ads have ads.

As for the rust belt state on decline tag, Ohio is anything but that. High tech manufacturing is growing everywhere. Plus we have an almost unlimited supply of clean, fresh and cheap drinking water.

Actually we need MORE, not LESS, swing states. Originally, people ran as individuals, not aligned to parties. I wish that were the case now. Parties usurp democracy, instead of advancing it.

The swing states ability to prove themselves not beholden to either party is a blessing. We should not envy them, but rather admire them.

That would make things far more interesting.
