Obama campaign accepted foreign Web donation -- and may be hiding more

The Obama re-election campaign has accepted at least one foreign donation in violation of the law — and does nothing to check on the provenance of millions of dollars in other contributions, a watchdog group alleges.

The Obama campaign’s apparent lack of safeguards makes it possible to violate the law, says a report released by the Government Accountability Institute, a Florida-based watchdog group.
The report found that one Obama site — Obama.com — gets almost half of its traffic from foreign computer addresses. The site directs users to an Obama donation page.

“We are not suggesting that just foreign traffic by itself is a problem,” said Peter Schweizer, president of the GAI. “But for a campaign that is very sophisticated in its fund-raising capabilities, they do not make one effort to try to even see or ask somebody to check a box that says they are a US citizen.”

Do you currently own a business or property here in the US?

Foreign Nationals Brochure
The WND guy isn't a foreign national. He's in the US and he used a US credit card, which is why his calling it a "foreign" donation was absurd.

Default OMG---I have no words----

Mike Huckabee

If anyone at the Obama campaign checks their donor list, they might be surprised to find two donations from Osama bin Laden. Two $15 donations from Osama were made to Obama’s website, using a Pakistani proxy server, a disposable credit card and a fake address. And I do mean “fake.” The donor gave his address as “911 Jihad Way, Abbottabad, California.” He also listed his employer as “al-Qaeda” and his occupation as “deceased terror chief.” But the donations went through without a hitch. They were actually made by staffers at the conservative website, World Net Daily, to show how lax the Obama campaign’s safeguards against illegal foreign contributions are. Or maybe the campaign just figured Obama has a surprisingly diverse group of supporters.

Anything is possible at this point in time. Very little is known about Obama who has an empty quip for every important question imaginable.

note...top officials are now warning Obama in formal written advisory, failure to disclose is a disgrace... solid evidence in measurable loss of moral within the military.... Obama explicitly told manner clearly harming troops.

You know those are anonymous donations, where you can put any name in, right? How do they know what kind of server it came in on. Hell, with the way ip routing works, I may be posting this from a server in Pakistan because the ggsn is in India.

Unbelievably stupid. Its better to be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Seriously, get a grip. The man is dead - first of all. Secondly - never mind. It's just not worth it.
