What were your reactions to the debates hosted in Chicago?

The candidates who debated were:
  • Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party
  • Jill Stein of the Green Party
  • Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party
  • Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party
The problems that were discussed included: (King said there were six, I may have missed one)
  • War on Drugs
  • Military spending/role of the USA in the military
  • Is college worth it?
  • Stance on detaining Americans indefinitely under NDAA
  • What constitutional amendment would you introduce?
I thought Rocky Anderson displayed a strong presentation throughout the debate, though I didn't agree with his view on college education. On this problem, Virgil Goode and Gary Johnson were more realistic, even if I don't like what it means.

Yeah, the whole concept of a free college education in this country is pretty far fetched. I mean in a perfect world it would be nice and all, but it just isn't realistic.

I felt like Virgil Goode wasn't really interested in being there for the most part, or maybe he just seemed annoyed.

I thought Gary Johnson did really well, as I expected he would.

Jill Stein was great. A single payer health care system is desperately needed in this country.
