In theory, I like the early voting idea. However, I do see how it could be harmful to the integrity of the election. As for having an ID, I'm in complete agreement. I can't even get a library card without showing an official ID, I don't really understand why having one to vote shouldn't be a requirement.
Maybe you could tell us.

Most voter fraud happens when crooked county officials have access to mail in ballots and they either stuff the box, replace them, etc. If you think there's widespread ballot box stuffing, then why are you guys pushing so hard to pass voter ID laws that require the voters themselves to provide state certified Id? That does absolutely nothing to solve the problem you're talking about. I hate to tell you this, but if you have a crooked election official, it isn't going to matter if they have the ballots around for two weeks or two hours--it takes literally minutes to do what you're proposing. Most counties have checks and balances in place with multiple employees and officials to make sure that there are controls to prevent stuffing the box.
