All are indicating a GOP House, a Democratic Senate (shocking since 21 Dems were running in seats to defend, vs just 6 Republicans).

That means we're in for a POTUS, either way, who will get nothing meaningful done.

Like it or hate it (and I am in the latter), 2009-2010 was the only scenario where future POTUS' are unlike figureheads. It takes 60 Senate Seats, plus 218 House, plus POTUS. 2 of 3 is no different than 1 of 3. 1 to block is all it takes to make the POTUS a figurehead.

Current House:
242 Rep 193 Dem

Projected House:
231 Rep 189 Dem 15 tossups

Current Senate:
53 Dem 47 Rep

Projected Senate:
50 Dem 43 Rep 1 Ind 6 tossups
