So, let me get this straight, by the article you posted, they bought everything the night before they knew what they were doing the next day?

So the night before the event, campaign aides went to a local Wal Mart and spent $5,000 on granola bars, canned food, and diapers to put on display while they waited for donations to come in, according to one staffer.
But what is really pathetic about this, is that the left is bitching becuase someone has donated goods, to people who will need it.....

What F'n useless posting...

Way to go lefties...keep up the great work...

He's been asked over twenty times by reporters if he would eliminate FEMA and send the burden back to the States and he refuses to answer.

I think his plan is for Governors to head to Walmart with a rental van and buy jars of beans and peanut butter.

He answered, because you do not agree with it, does not mean he is wrong....

Instead of going through all that trouble, wouldn't have been easier to just cut a check to the Red Cross?

That's not very photogenic.

They could have made it a giant-sized check.

I think both are doing a good job helping out people through this disaster.

I only hope this is an eye opener for the next four years for either Mitt or Obama in office.

People all over the country need this kind of support from their government everyday. Maybe if we treat our homeless, jobless, foreclosed, medically in dept, etc....population with the same support we'll get the idea of what our government should be used for. To help this nation, gather up support to help those who find themselves in the line of any disaster.
Regardless of party lines. Instead of wanting to stay out of it.

Actually, the Red Cross is full of waste, fraud and abuse. So in reality, getting it right to the folks is a much better option. I know, it will cut into the execs outrageous salaries there, but they'll get by, I'm sure.
