As Selwyn Duke rightly wrote in 2007, Romney is the Barack Obama of the GOP. Every Republican has made his share of mistakes, but Romney is a committed liberal on the whole spectrum of issues
I'm not sure how you figure what he is, since he flip flops all over the place on just about every single issue, depending on what the people in front of him at the moment want to hear.

True about flip-floppig for the campaign, but if you look at his past and the values he has held most of his life, it's all liberal.

How about amnesty for 3 million illegal aliens? Does that sound like something that would fly for today's conservatives?
It would not be popular, but yes, it is something they will probably do again in the future. It is one of those issues they love to talk against, but always act in favor of.

I essentially agree. If it weren't for the Tea Party House I wouldn't be as worried about the prospects of a Romney presidency. Romney has been putting on a conservative act but I do believe he is a moderate. Of course there is no way of knowing for sure what he believes.
Trouble is, he didn't run on that during the primary, and he still isn't really doing it now.
I don't know what the hell Romney plans on doing.
