Believe it or not, or like it or not, the Second American Civil War has begun. But this won't be fought with guns.

We know we are in deep trouble, and we know what and who caused it: Liberalism, and Leftists (Democrats, Progressives, Socialist ... call them whatever you like). But we cannot just roll over and die. The Republic is worth saving for our children and their children, who are the ones who will be paying the bills for the leftists follies.

Here are some of my thoughts:
  • Boycott businesses owned by Democrats. Refuse to do business with them. Do not use any services offered by Democrat owned companies. Use and hire only Christian or Republican owned businesses.
  • Hard as this might be, perhaps it's time to end friendships with anyone you know who voted for Obama. Most aren't worth trying to convert. They won't, and you just waste your time. It's a bit like trying to convert an atheist to a believing Christian. Ain't likely to happen.
  • For those with the means (Christian or Republican owned law firms, for example who may already be involved as legislative "watch dogs", step up efforts to pursue legal challenges to anything proposed by the left. Tie up legislation in the courts. Where possible, sue Democrat lawmakers.
  • Become even better informed. Watch these people like hawks. Sit outside their doors (figuratively, maybe). Report their every move. Find out who their associations are. Investigate them. Report. Blog it (become a blabbermouth). Dog them to death. Make life miserable for them.
  • Contact your state government representatives. We won big victories at the state level. If you do not already have "right to work" laws passed in your state, demand it. There is no better time to get this done. We have the power at the state level.
  • Refuse to do business with Union Shops. Take your business elsewhere, if possible.
  • Attack the Leftist power bases. Work toward the repeal of some of the laws that have given Unions way too much power. Check this link to see what I mean:
Articles: Labor Unions are not dead. They are reloading.
  • Try to get control of local school boards and township offices.
  • Keep an eye on what your local city council is doing. Do they have a leftist agenda? Blog it. Report it. Oppose it. Make it known. Get others involved.
  • Support your local Tea Party. The left thinks the Tea Party is dead. Good. Let them think so. We know it isn't. Many have Facebook pages. Use this to report your findings on local Democrat activities which the may not already know about.
  • Find out what your children are being taught in school. They may be being propagandized. Ask what they think about things. Listen carefully to their answers. Visit the school if necessary. Use the (usually free) legal services of organizations like the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) if you think you have a legal case against your school or your child's teacher. Sue them.
  • If possible, pull your kids out of public school. Home school or send them to a private school if you have the means.
  • Use any means possible to find out what's being taught in your child's classroom. Is there real education taking place? Or are they being taught leftist propaganda.
  • Are your children being prohibited from praying before a meal, or speaking about God, openly? Sue. They have the right to pray at school, and the schools cannot violate their right to free speech.
These are just a few things that came to mind. Here is another good article posted today at American Thinker. This is just laughable. The left has built a house of cards:

Loony GOP teabaggers will still continue to whine about gay marriage, Obama's birth certificate, and advocating rape....and losing elections (well, except in all the welfare red states in the Deep South). LOL!!

This is hysterical! This sounds like the Nazi call for action where they told their citizens:
"Germans, buy ONLY German bananas!"

I just had to quote this.

So, on January 19, 2009, just a day before the inauguration of President Obama, we were living in a robust economy? The stock market was healthy? How do you feel about the 8 prior years of "conservatism" that had taken place that got us where we are right now?

Oh, I know, I know, a few of you were grumbling that the other administration wasn't really conservative but I heard nothing but praise back then. There were a few sane folks who did realize the mess but no the masses. Please.

I expected ignorant replies like this. Are you aware that states with Republican governorships and Republican legislatures are in far better shape than those with Democrat governors and legisatures. Din't think so, but it's true. And we won huge victories last tuesday.

So, you are for Faux Marriage? LOL Good luck with that one too.

Here. Read and weep:

Well, we know who you voted for. Chump!

It's amazing that people still try to blame this economy on Bush. Bush had little to do with it. It was mostly Democrat policies that have been put in place over the years that led to the "mortgage crisis." You might like to review the history of the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act). Pay particular attention to who created it, and which presidents expanded it. It has "Democrat" written all over it.

Also, please discover some of your favorite Democrats who profited handsomely from this scandal. Names like, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and even Barack Obama. There were quite a few others as well. As a matter of fact, I don't recall even one Republican name on this scandal. The Republicans held hearings on the mortgage colapse that was coming. The Democrats scoffed and laughed. Guess what?

But go ahead, chump. Stick with your fantasy if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy. I don't give a damn. You're going to suffer now too. And for that, I am happy! I hope you lose your house and your job.

Republicans conveniently seem to forget this fact. The economy was in free fall before W. left office. Jobs were disappearing as fast as the Republican demographic.

Trillions of dollars in debt.

What an appropriate spokesperson for the GOP - party of family values and vindictiveness.

Oh gee. I must not have see how Obamas economy and administration has done so much better.

Wait. I didn't see it because it hasn't happened.

You all can just keep believing that higher prices and declining jobs and income mean the economy is doing good.

Give me a break.

The path forward ? The same path we've been on.
Tax the rich chants and ignore the debt.

I say chants because in 4 years we haven't actually passed any bill to tax the rich.
And they won't send in extra money on their own. They want to be taxed; just ask Warren Buffet. They are just waiting for Congress to give them the green light to send in more money
