Ha!

"According to the numbers compiled by David Wasserman of the Cook Political Report, President Obama now leads Mitt Romney 50.81%-47.48% in the popular vote.
...
Obama is currently posting the biggest margin of victory since Bill Clinton beat Bob Dole, 49.24%-40.71% in 1996."

Obama's Margin of Victory is Now Bigger than Both of George W. Bush's Wins

Yes, and Obama's lead is growing as the final votes are tallied. In the end it is going to be Obama 51%, Romney 47%. Lord knows there is justice in that irony.

Okay, then. In 2004, with a 50.73%-48.27% margin of victory, President Bush claimed a mandate, saying, "I earned capital in this campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it." So all of our friends on the right will acknowledge that President Obama, with a larger margin of victory, also has a mandate and political capital to spend now, right?

Delusions are a norm among the American left.

Considering the number of right wing threads predicting the crushing defeat that Romney would deliver to Obama, I would think that folks on the right should keep their mouths shut, the fingers off of their keyboards and their heads back up their rectums when it comes to accusing other folks of being delusional.

Looks like 50.85-47.43..to me..

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...E&toomany=true

There's an excellent chance Romney could end up with 47% when rounded, if not 47.47% when not.....

You reap what you sow..

Actually, the numbers aren't.

Bush won by 2.4% and just over 3 million votes.

Obama's margin so far (continuing to grow as precincts continue to report) is over 3.4% and over 4.3 million votes.

But I think we all understand your need to try and claim they're "about the same", even though they aren't.

Thread open (though the degree to which you really want people to stop discussing Romney's loss is amusing).
