This is McConnell's strategy - make stuff up and hope enough fall for it.

Seriously? She is extremely liberal. She makes me look like a right winger. She is an unabashed supporter of Obama, she is most known for her non-religious humanitarian work in Africa and her support of environmental causes. She is also a feminist of the "rape culture" variety.

She is not anything that is remotely that could be called a conservative.

There is according to the ones who would have to support her, quite a few other candidates.

She has some serious baggage. Not just the baggage under her eyes either.

Although I'm of a different political persuasion, she seems like a bright woman who is interested in representing KY. There is nothing wrong with that. However, the idea that someone with no record to run on could beat an established candidate is pretty far fetched.
There is a faction of voters, unfortunately, who will vote for her only because she's a movie star, or because she's attractive.

What were Reagans when he first ran? I don't have a clue what you are talking about but I am guessing you mean when he ran for governor, right? Well, to start with he had been the Pres of the screen actors guild a few times, he had spoken at the 1964 convention, and was very active in the Republican party. Judd hasn't done any of these things as far as I know and running for Governor against a tired, has been candidate is different than running for a seat against a popular senator. Add to this, she will be considered a carpetbagger as she really is never in KY. Reagan had lived in Ca for years.

I will add one more thing< Reagan had a great team behind him, known as the kitchen cabinet..

Oh, let me say just one more thing, I do not particularly like Mcconnell but he is still very popular in his state. think:
