Obama is not my favorite person in the whole world. There are things he could have done differently.

For example, he has opposed the X-cel Pipeline and I happen to think we should build that because of the jobs it will create in this country. The Alaska Pipeline has little effect on the environment there and this whole country is criss-crossed by oil and natural gas pipelines.

However, what stands out is that Obama could say that the sun rose in the east every morning and John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republican party would argue that he is wrong. No President who was elected to office would have been perfect by a longshot.

When the conservatives claim Obama is the most liberal President in history, I wonder what they are talking about. With the exception of the ACA (which is really just Mitt Romney's idea in Massachusetts applied to the rest of the country) he has barely gotten anything through Congress at all. He couldn't be the most liberal President in history simply because Congress has only gone a long with one or two of his suggestions. Lyndon Johnson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Teddy Roosevelt passed hordes of legislation which one could call "progressive" or "liberal" depending on their orientation. I think Obama is closer to being an "ineffective President" than a liberal President.

Anyway, this man whatever his accomplishments (or lack thereof) has served as a lightning rod for the right. He is criticized no matter what he does. He could save a drowning child and get blamed for it.

I seriously who the right wing will direct their anger against, once Obama leaves office.

if he is your favorite person in the whole world, you live a pretty sheltered life. I can't imagine anyone saying any politician is their favorite person? as for who will the Republicans blame? Well the Obama people are still blaming Bush and some Reagan. I am sure they will find someone to blame!!!

The beauty of Obama is that the Right has never had to make up anything to criticize him about, he has provided all the controversies himself. Stop and think for a moment, other than Bungling Biden, who on the Dems side has stood with him ? With all that's going on now, what Dems are out there defending Barry's decisions ? More and more Dems are distancing themselves from him. Other than that lawn knome Emanuel here in IL., nobody wants to be seen with him. So don't worry about who the Right will blame, it will ALWAYS be Bushes fault !

As I recall, much of what you mention could be applied to the Dems criticism of Bush. After all, he was the least intelligent person we have ever had in this office, it was Bush who expanded the government, more than Obama ever did. It was Bush who started a war in Iraq, the results of which are a loss of American lives and more terrorism......

But he did one thing right. He courted the evangelical/fundamentalist crowd, those who have proven that they will believe anything told to them on Sunday morning. And these are the same ones who believe most of the lies and conspiracies about Obama, things I myself read and check out and find to be utterly false. They seem to enjoy wallowing in their own ignorance. Not exactly the company I prefer, but to each his own.

This is America, it is still a free country, and I do not see Obama changing that. What I would like is less government, less taxation and less interference. BUT in a day and age of terrorism and throngs of people unable to make healthy decisions for themselves, someone needs to step up and be big brother and keep the lesser children from hurting themselves.

And however this is done, someone will complain, shoot, someone will even complain about this post because my idea is different than yours. BUT That is what makes America a great place. We have great minds, great minds solve great problems. Even when someone else cannot stand it.

It takes a long time to undo serious damage. 750,000 lost jobs a month during bush`s last 5 months is a historical fact.

I am pretty sure we can blame him for everything for the next eight years, just like the left and Oblama himself have done to Bush.

Obama blamed Bush for what? If he`s been doing it for 8 years you should be able to provide several examples of this.
