Michigan's Terri Lynn Land Is the Invisible Senate Candidate - US News

Why she so afraid to debate her opponent? Why not answer journalists questions? Just imagine kind of senator she would be!

It'll be fun to see if her "strategy" of not running pays off.

LOL … she sounds like a typical republican stiff.

Given the general stupidity of republican voters, she should do pretty well in Nov...

Actually, when living in MI, she was one of the best Sec of States that MI every had; except for maybe Dick Austin.
I would rather be a stupid republican voter than a cowardly democrat any day of the week

Reminds of Thomas Jefferson or current Democrat Senator Kay Hagan.

It would be nice if there were real debates - what we have are great for repeating talking points, evading questions and spreading lies...like the democrat lie that Republicans cut $1 Billion from Michigan's education.

With our current debate format, all the debates really prove is who is better prepared to spit slander and talking points in a concise catchy manner - the majority of which are lies or distortions. How does this show who would work better with the other side, craft good law, etc? I would say that "debates" are a symptom of the dysfunction in DC.

Fix the debates, make them real.
