I think that is swayed due to being the only two democrat option as oppose to a bunch of republican options whether it is conservative or moderate.

Newsbreak, the country is no longer in support of the Republican party. Dems have won the popular vote in 5 out of the last 6 elections, and it will easily walk to at a minimum 6 out of 7 in 2016. This last election looked like it did due in large part to which senate seats were up, not to mention horrible gerrymandering. The strong majority of this country does not connect with the Republican platform.

I also doubt that living in Hawaii was the same as a young black growing up in Cleveland or Chicago.

In his college years, it was Harvard, and Occidental. Do you think he had a typical "black American experience?" I don't.
I read your post in full. And yes, he probably had a typical "black American" experience. It might be news to you but Black Americans often go to college and become professionals and we're all not alike..

If you're surprised at the number of votes in this poll, you're going to be very surprised in 2016...

Right now, I would be totally torn between Rubio and Rand Paul. I think Rand Paull would bring in a lot of the young voters and have some cross over support. I just wish he would lighten up a little. Rubio has good ideas but I just don't think he is ready and may not ever be. The one thing I do know, I am going to be very disappointed if it comes down to Bush and Romney. I would support Bush.

Any candidate that uses 'Global warming' or 'Climate change' as a political prop will NOT get my vote.

The party in charge of the white house also typically loses both houses of congress during the second half of a two-term president's second term. It happened with Obama, W. Bush, Clinton and Reagan. Also it is known that the Democratic base voters only vote during Presidential elections, not with mid-terms. This created a perfect storm for Republicans this last mid-term. The Republicans can spin that America wants them but the fact is when when it comes to the popular vote since H. W. Bush beat Dukakis in 1988, the Democrats had more votes and also won 5 out of 7 times electorally.

She helped establish the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, has consistently fought for the shrinking middle class who rightfully believe "the system is rigged", while suggesting that the rich should pay more taxes (egads!), and she's hammered banks and so-called 'regulators' when no one else would. Also horror of horrors, she pushed for students to be able to take out government education loans at the same rate that banks like Goldmann Sachs enjoy! But perhaps her biggest 'sin' was publicly outing the recent Wall Street budget giveaway that virtually guts Dodd-Frank (you know, the banking limits specifically designed to prevent another Great Recession)?! So what's not to like (other than she's smart, female and a very persuasive Lib-rul)?!
I don't think you really need any of us to answer you on this one, you wouldn't listen regardless. But even if she isn't to the left of left, (I am not saying she is a commie) she is a socialist and a liar. That in itself is all I need to know. Anyone who gets special considerations for jobs and education, claiming they are something they are not doesn't deserve to be elected to anything, much less the President of our country.
