Not quite, there are too many other issues at play and the fact that the democrats don't typically vote during midterms and both houses turn, makes it muddier. But hey, whatever makes you sleep better at night.

He may have gotten in by his last name, but he didn't flunk out. He beat John Effin Kerry in grades at Yale, so he didn't flunk out like Gore.

Obama had help getting into Occidental, Columbia and Harvard.

It is not about getting in, it's about staying in.

LOL, semantics, tell that to people that no longer got unemployment benefits due to the shutdown and maybe while you are mulling that over you can explain why we are still operating under Sequester rules because we have a Congress that cannot pass a budget. Are the Repubs ever going to accomplish anything? They now have full control Congress yet have still not managed to pass a long term budget, I thought they were going to get something done, so far I see nothing more than the same old excuses and partisan BS games. Do the Repubs not understand that the People expect them to get something done before the next elections or are they so stupid they believe a midterm election win means they can do as they please?

So much for that filibuster Rafael the Communist Cruz.
It informed the ill informed. Everything he said was true. How were Americans "hurt by the government shutdown?" Other than the vindictive actions by Obama, I mean. Seriously, please provide concrete examples of Americans that were hurt by the Democrats' failure to compromise with the GOP on the funding of the government?

They may but to people like Bent Bow, it's just conservatives and non conservatives (what he and others call "progressives.") I was stating that the political spectrum is MUCH more complicated as you have communism, socialism, liberalism, conservtatism, and libertarianism. Then you have centralists too.

March of 2013 heralded as the time the Democrats pass their first budget in four years.

Excuses, excuses. Meanwhile, Americans put Obama back in office, and did so with an electoral college landslide--332-206. But you go ahead and pretend Fox News was responsible for Obama's win. Man, that is probably the funniest thing I've read here on C-D in a long time. Fox News helped elect Obama. Hilarious.

We are in a Constitutional crises in our country. While Obama seeks to destroy that, ORomney would have coasted along not fixing much. Both trains reach the same destination - over a cliff. Why vote for the slow train?
The right wingers had their chance to pick someone better than Romney, but at the end, those right wingers voted for Mittens Romney to be their candidate.
