Walker not only won once, but 3 times the elections as governor of Wisconsin. In case you didn't know... Wisconsin is supposed to be a democratic stronghold. How did he do it?
Just to clarify, Madison WI is a Democrat stronghold and a liberal filled dump... the rest of the state is actually quite conservative, level headed and against the corruption that Democrats typically bring with them.
I think right now, the Dems are shaking in their boots period. If Clinton doesn't have some serious competition and it appears she will not, she will be so rusty she is bound to make one mistake on top of another. She isn't the sweetheart of the media and not only do we have Walker (which isn't my first choice) we have a few other very good, young and popular choices with Rs next to their names. Is Walker our best choice? Well, he has shown the ability to win, win, win; is a governor which for many is better than a senator and is conservative, but does he have the personality to excite people? Hillary sure doesn't.

Wow I'd love to visit the world you live in. She's the media's sweetheart? Theres no one the press vilifies more than Hillary. Cruz and Walker excite lunatic Teabaggers but scare normal people, same as Sarah Palin. Hillary has been running elections a lot longer than any Republican in the field. What mistake could destroy her? The media and right wingers have thrown every single thing they have at her and haven't sunk her.
The only people Scott Walker makes twitchy are the Republicans.
Walker could mess up Cruz and Rubio by siphoning votes away from both pretty easily, as all 3 are in the same rowboat, but there is no way Walker will steal any votes at all from Hillary Clinton. The same is true if O'Malley enters the race, or any of several other Democrats.
Walker is nothing more than Michele Bachmann with a bald spot. A spoiler for his own party and no threat at all to any of the Democratic contenders.

Best description I have heard yet. Yes, Walker is a spoiler for the Republican party.

I understand Milwaukee is quite a stronghold for Democrats as well. The mayor of Milwaukee is a Democrat.
Interestingly, Janesville (I have a friend who lives near there) is fairly conservative ... it is the place Paul Ryan is from ... and yet in 2012 Janesville betrayed it's native son Ryan and went for Obama.
My impression is that Wisconsin is not unlike Pennsylvania - the cities lean towards the Democrats and the small towns and rural areas lean towards the Republicans.
I wonder what the folks of Wisconsin think about Scott's plans to run for President a year after being re-elected. Since he can't hold down both jobs, are they going to be happy with the Republicans if he wins? Or will they be any happier if he loses and goes back to the Governor's mansion after ignoring his duties as Governor for months while on the campaign trail?
Walker's alligator mouth made a lot of promises his butterfly butt can't back up. Where are all those incoming jobs he swore he would find? He's sure not gonna find them waltzing around the country in a decal covered bus.
But then, he can always pull a Palin and resign once he comes back home all whipped. I'm sure Sarah will give him pointers on how to make a new career as a non-candidate for anything. And Arizona will be happy to take him in after he's run out of Wisconsin.
The only way Scoot Walker can make anybody twitchy is by serving them big jug of caffeine.
