History has shown that Hilliary has a giant obstacle to win.... The chance is low, very low for a democrat to win.... The democrat just happens to be Hilliary...

The last thing America needs is another Clinton or Bush. Been there done that America deserves better.

The REALLY last thing America needs is another Clinton with a bush. But I digress.

You're right, there are way too many candidates on the R side, and not nearly enough on the D side. Sadly, our political system is a disaster right now. With the tens of millions (if not hundreds of millions) of low-info voters out there, politics has been dumbed down to a popularity contest, where neither the media nor the voters attempts to get to the facts behind the candidates.

Thus far, each nominee looks as out of touch as the next. Just another loser parade of establishment Rinos. Are they even trying anymore???

If ever there is an election worth staying home for, the next presidential election will be it. America has never required a viable 3rd party this bad in generations. Does anyone really believe a Republican candidate stands a chance?
It stands to reason that a republican would win the next election since we've had a democrat the last 8 years. The problem is the candidates who are running. They have to bow down to conservatives in order to get the nomination then they have to seem moderate to get the votes of independents and even some democrats. They have to walk a very thin line and I'm sure that's really hard.

If the GOP doesn't fare better with minorities in 2016 than they did in 2012, they would need 65% of the white vote to win the national popular vote. The truly frightening thing for the Republican Party is that if they have to continue to rely on white voters for close to 90% of their vote in Presidential elections, they'll have to increase their percentage with every four year cycle in order to win as the white percentage of total votes cast continues to fall.

It's Hillary C. you should be worried about. Mr. and Mrs. scandal as the only viable candidate?

Default Do people actually believe the Republicans stand a chance?

The Republicans are too divided and there are too many candidates, they need to rally behind one.

Republicans control the US House and US Senate. So yes, we stand a chance.
They also own the local control of the direction the country is headed in. So if you like that direction and you want it on a national level and they put forth a candidate that represents that, then that is your chance. Given the fact that we have had a democrat that broke nearly every campaign promise he made and discouraged a large number of voters from participating again. The chances look good from an Independents point of view.

There should be some sort of... oh I don't know.... like a primary or something where people come together to vet these candidates and decide on one a year before the election at which point people can then rally around the chosen candidate. Oh why can't we come up with a process like this, it would be amazing.

IMHO what could kill it for either the Dems or the Repubs in 2016 will be how Obama does. If his rep is at least Ok next November, the Dems will probably win. If Obama has another disaster on his hands, I'll lay odds a Repub will become POTUS, with or withOUT the Black or "Hispanic" vote.

They all make promises when they are running and most of them are broken when they are in office. That's just the way it is since congress and the senate also have a say. If republicans would stop opposing the social issues that the majority are for then many they would have a chance
