Do the math, even when Obama was doing his budget, the increase from increasing taxes on the wealthy would be a drop in the bucket when it comes to making all public universities and colleges free.

Another problem I have is when things are free, people don't appreciate it or care. My GF's sister is in high school and goes to one of the best public high schools in San Francisco. Even here, there are so many students that disturb the class and the liberal politics makes it impossible for the teacher to take control of the class.

This happened last year in her class. There was a girl on her phone during class and the teacher told her to put it away. She said no I won't, so the teacher told her to go to the principal's office and she got up and threw all the teacher's stuff off his desk and was acting really crazy "sister's words" so he grabbed her wrist to stop her and said leave now. The next day, the teacher wasn't there and the principal said he is being reviewed and he never came back to school. This is how ridiculous the system is right now.

I would be in favor on offering no interest student loans, but free tuition I think will ruin our great university system.

Why are you so against anyone else being offered the opportunity to better themselves?
Do you really have such a deep seated need to feel superior?
Why is the attitude always punitive rather than empathetic?

Only in a liberal's mind would the "opportunity to better yourself" involve a bunch of free stuff. People improve themselves with hard work, which tends to happen when they have a financial stake in their own self interests.

If you study during high school and go to a public university in your state, you can get scholarships and financial aid that usually cover tuition, sometimes you actually have money left to spare. I believe in offering no-interest loans, but let's be real, we can't just give everything for free, it isn't possible. If there was a way to give every American a Lambo without hurting our debt, economy or country, then I would be all for it.

You didn't go to a "free" public school? I did, and I appreciate and still support public schools because of the education I was able to get there.

There is a way: end the corruption and privatization of government business. It really is that simple. Without the financial sector parasites cutting in on the action, it all will fall in line.

The wealthy are afraid that, if you level the playing field, they will fall off the edges. They are much more comfortable playing from the top and shoving everyone else off the bottom.

If people improve themselves via "hard work", the GOP supporters are the lowest segment of humanity.
Making deals and taking advantage of those who have no opportunity to try and save, and to create a better life, is not hard work. Especially when the law favors your position.
