Here's an interesting article about oil fields in the Middle East and ISIS. What a mess we've made over there with our interference in the region. If we bombed the oil field in Iran will we continue across the Middle East until we go them all?

"Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and Iraq – which together account for two thirds of the cartel's production – are all now affected by the inexorable march of the Isil jihadists but appear powerless to prevent it due to the widening sectarian schism between the Sunni and Shia Muslims across the region in the wake of the Arab spring uprisings five years ago."

If the Iraqi Army is any example it seems more like they're unwilling to rather than that they're powerless to. If that's the case it's just another reason we shouldn't get involved, fighting for those who won't fight for themselves is pure folly, nothing else.

Generals today are gutless wonders that will tow the Obama party line so they do not get liquidated, I mean forced into retirement, like so many others who have spoken out against our Dear Leader.

With two stars and up it is no longer about the military but all politics.

And what's your excuse for the Iraqi Army that was allegedly so well trained under Bush's watch? Why are they so useless? In case you missed it there wasn't any 'Obama line' to toe at that point.

There shouldn't be any doubt. Trump is right.

Because - What did these Generals, Admirals, Great Thinkers, Whatevers do to stop the rise of ISIL in the first place? They have already failed at it and should be put out to pasture.

The best way to defeat ISIS is to partner with Bashar al-Assad,
but the Israel-firsters who control the U.S. government will not allow
that to happen.
Everything else, including what Trump and Odierno said, is pointless.
What Trump said is especially offensive to Syrians and Iraqis, neither
of which asked for or want U.S. imperialism in their homelands.

We could have stopped ISIS/al-Queda from ever existing, which would
have been the natural course of things if Hussein, Khaddafi, and Assad
were all still in power, but no, Israel-US had to mess it all up.

Since backing Assad is not an option in the poll, I cannot vote.

How about this. I give you Dinars, you give me dollar bills. How is that?

And those who question Trump’s plan to take down their oil wells say Iraqis will need them after the war. In effect they say ISIS is taking good care of them.

"The decision to torch the refinery, which once produced around a third of Iraq's domestic fuel supplies, was made as the insurgents prepared to pull out of Baiji,
