...and only 21% believing he was born in the US.

That further confirms all of the other studies of who Mr. Trump's supporters are demographically.

Hint: The Senior Senator from Arizona has a hunch. Also think of today's Clint Eastwood (and his buddy chair from the 2012 RNC).

LOL. So Trump supporters are, by and large, birthers. Well, idiots attract idiots, I suppose.

i suspect there are even more that believe he was born in the US but doesn't meet the requirement for "natural born citizen" due to his father's kenyan citizenship ( bringing the total number of birthers up over 61% ).

I wouldn't go that far, but we can say with confidence that birthers attract birthers. Makes sense. lol

Mick

P.S. Speaking of birthers, did you see that Rafael Cruz, Sr. was enraged by the allegations by a segment of the Tea Party (i.e., elite wackos) who say Raffy (in addition to Jindal, Santorum and Rubio) is not a natural born citizen and therefore not eligible for the POTUS. Whether or not Daddy has a valid legal argument - probably does - it's fascinating to see him so angry when the shoe is on the other foot, as he is the worst kind of birther when it was Obama. But we all knew that "they" are hypocrites.

i wouldn't say he went full-birther but rafael definitely teased and appeased the birther faithful:

Rafael Cruz, Ted Cruz's Father, Told Tea Partiers Obama Should Go 'Back To Kenya'

Fascinating how people will quote polls who never read them.

They only asked Republicans that question. No surprise how the hard core GOP feels about Obama. If you bother to read the polls you notice they didn't ask ANY Independents or Democrats the same question.

Blows a hole in that "conclusion".

I would bet that at least 40% liberals think Obama was born outside the US, the difference being that they are OK with that.
