Need one more button:
Who votes for someone based on their religious belief? America is a secular nation. I vote based on someone's vision for the country, their record of accomplishment, their ability to lead, ... etc.
Not on their personal religion ...

Islam is a political ideology as well as religious.

You should change the question to: Would you "knowingly" Vote For A Muslim U.S. Presidential Candidate?

If they were a Democrat going up against another stupid Republican who focuses on social issues instead of the economy, yes I would.

A bigger question to conservatives, would you vote for a Republican who happens to be Muslim?

There are many reasons not to vote for Dr Oz, Shaquille O'Neal, or Aasif Mandvi - but being Muslim isn't top of my list.

Same answer for Christian, Jewish, or any other religion.

If their policy would be based off their personal religious beliefs? No. If they keep their personal religious beliefs separate from policy? Yes

I don't care what religion a candidate is, if they aren't religious or if they are very religious. I have no litmus test for religion in a candidate other than they keep their religion separate from policy.

And Christianity is NOT? Whatever reason you want to use to disqualify Islam could be applied to Christianity as well. When people come to debates telling us that God asked them to run for President !!! DUH ... These are people I will NEVER vote for. The biggest and most reliable voting block for the Republican party are religious fanatics ...

Gee, is that why Muslim dominated countries controlled by the Islamic caliphate have people fleeing in droves to the Christian dominating freedom loving west? You should thank your Bible thumping Christian founders.
