And Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and the Democrat Party... even Joe Biden.

What an interesting poll.

One of the more interesting responses - 60% of those planning to vote in the D primary said they would support a candidate willing to compromise to get something passed over one that would refuse to budge (p. 13.) 49% of those planning to vote in the R primary said they would prefer a candidate who is not willing to compromise, while 48% would support a compromiser (p. 17).

I noticed that, too, and it merely confirmed what I already knew. Absolute "purity" is important to the right.

Well, only Hillary ranked lower than BLM, so . . . .

According to that Poll, every Dem is looked at favorably and every Republican has low ratings, every issue that favored Dems is rated highly and every issue favored by Republicans is viewed negatively...so if this were accurate, why do you think there are more elected Republicans than at any time since 1928, Republicans control both Houses of Congress, most state Governors, and most state Legislatures???

Because the poll reflects the total population, not just red state America. That's why the Pubs can have such great success at the congressional and state levels and still lose the popular vote in Presidential races 5 of the last 6 times.

Gerrymandering plays a large part of it. This isn't an exact number, it is from memory from a study done prior to the last election cycle, but for democrats to have won a majority in the house they actually needed something like 65-69% of the vote across those races. You would think it would be much smaller to win a majority, but the gerrymandered districts by republicans have twisted things. Low voter turnout also plays into things.

If things were so rosy for your side, why do you think it is that the Republicans have lost the popular vote for president in 5 out of 6 elections, and are training in virtually every matchup there is? Why are you losing on polling on things like abortion, planned parenthood, gay rights and on and on?

Nah, the poll is just highly biased. The last Congressional election was taken in all 50 states and the Republicans blew out the Dems.

Your salty tears will be so sweet when that number pushed to 6 of the last 7 presidential elections going to the democrat in just over a year's time ...
