If it actually turns out to be Hillary, the most corrupt politician in recent history, vs Trump, a clueless idiot who makes about as much sense as wiping my rear-end sideways, I am not going to vote...heck, I live in Seattle, so there aren't any local politicians who are worth voting for anyway (a bunch of twits to the left of Bernie Sanders) so I will most likely throw away my ballot in 2016 if this is the case. Or, I may vote for Libertarian and former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson, if for no other reason than to give the finger to the establishment.

If you live in an area that doesn't have the insane runoff process we have in Washington, which basically guarantees I only have a choice between one big government numbskull or another, you can still vote for local candidates and such, but really...who wants either of them?

This is the most depressing election in history if it turns out to be Trump vs Clinton. I predict voter turnout will be at an all time low and a lot of GOP voters will vote third party, and perhaps a bunch of Democrats will too.

This whole thing is an argument for turning America into a parliamentary system...or better yet, this whole thing makes the anarchists screaming that all government and elections are useless look a lot less crazy.

Hmm....tough choice.

If Jim Webb didn't run as an independent, I would very unhappily vote for Trump.

I would be happy with either, but it would be a tough choice. I really hate the Republican Party of today which focuses on starting another war and forcing Christianity on everyone else and overriding state laws. If Trump were to pick one of these goons as his VP, then I would go with Clinton. However, if Trump chooses a non-religous nut job, then I would probably choose Trump. I just am having a hard time voting for a Republican because I don't want the Republican Party to feel their movement to the extreme right is being endorsed.

I cannot in good conscience vote for either Hillary Clinton or one of my party's far-right wingnuts like Trump, Cruz, or Carson.

I am considering two options:
1) The third option in the poll above: vote for state/local positions but leave the presidential ballot blank.
2) If Jim Webb runs as an independent I may vote for him.

Right now I am caught between two heartfelt positions of mine: the need to stop Hillary Clinton and building a more moderate, more inclusive Republican Party for the 21st century.

I think Rubio is the person we need to move the party in that direction.

I like Rubio, he is one of my three picks alongside Bush and Kasich. If everyone united behind Rubio we could probably knock Trump and/or Carson down a few notches and maybe even get one of the clowns out of the race.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I can't imagine anyone with any intelligence voting for a corrupt bum like Hillary, and Trump is a clown producing little more than sound bites for a portion of the base. From what I know right now (and this may change as I study him more) I would also support Webb as an independent. If he doesn't run, I'll probably hold my nose and vote for Trump. At the least he's not as bad as Clinton.

I'd hold my nose and vote for Trump too, but still hoping for Rubio. Webb sold out to the far left a long time ago, although he does lapse into sanity occasionally.

Clinton and Trump are my top picks, so I would be very happy we don't have a communist or a war nut on either side!
