Would you be fine getting free college if it meant paying 25% sales tax and more in income tax for the rest of your lives?
No but, i would be fine with a 25% spending cut across the board and kids paying for their own college like in the "olden" days some 30 years ago....sigh.....Does that EVER enter their minds?

Only if sales tax is included on the advertised price like it is everywhere except in US and Canada which is annoying. Despite the high sales tax in Scandinavia, average grocery foods are cheaper than here, they have affordable lunch special deals, and still cheap clothing at discount stores so it's not that bad as you think it is. Electronic prices are similar prices, and their cell phone plans are cheaper than what we pay here. The only thing more expensive is gas!

Sorry, but it's not going to happen, I promise you that. You can think implementing a tiny tax on Wall Street or cutting military budget would pay for it, but it won't even come close and on top of that, we need to lower our debt. If we hypothetically were able to generate enough cash to pay for all these freebies by taxing Wall Street and cutting military spending, then we would still be growing out debt at an alarming rate. Sorry Bernie supporters, but you guys need a reality check.
No it's not going to happen, but it won't stop me from voicing my ideas.

Libertarianism is dying fast, so I would hop off that bandwagon if I were you.

If you avail yourself of Google's services, you can loo for Bernie's ideas for yourself.

Are you paying taxes high enough to cover the costs of the wars?

Needless to say, I pay for my own classes even if it is a much slower process, but many students can't afford it. Heck it's taking a long time for me to finish paying out of my own pocket.

Oh sorry, us Bernie supporters are just pot smoking hippie high school dropouts that want everything for free and not work for it. Now, stereotypes aside....

Oh I have looked over his site at all the issues.

"Tax the rich" is how we're gonna get all this free stuff.

Yeah, it's crazy, basically he wants us all dependent on government.

That is greatly overlooking and oversimplifying the issue, such as putting a sales tax on Wall St.

Are you a computer program that trades hundreds of times per second in hundreds or thousands of dollars per transaction?

Yawn, here we go again. Government becomes our masters, overlords, and will under us like vegetables. How boring and predictable. Par for the course

I don't support the wars we are in and don't forget we have a Democrat in office. I want to end the wars, decrease taxes on all income levels, create a tax holiday to give corporations one chance to bring all their overseas cash back into the country, create a law to prevent them from hoarding profits overseas again, eliminate the capital gains tax, crackdown on people who are abusing welfare, disability etc, teach kids about ways to plan for retirement every year of high school (mandatory) among some other things.
