no, trump is the change in offense from a run only offense, to one that is a balanced run/pass offense. as much as i like him, carson is the hail mary pass, as is fiorina.

Trump refuses to take contributions from mega-rich donors because he knows how the game is played (having played it himself) so he won't be beholden to any of those donors. If Trump were constantly throwing "temper tantrums", do you really think that he could be a successful businessman? He also is shining lights in dark corners and addressing the elephant in the room plus he eschews PC BS. Is he perfect? No one is perfect. I, for one, see nothing wrong with giving him a chance at the presidency.
So you are voting for Sanders? Oh wait, you can't vote for a Social Democrat that doesn't take money from the mega-rich....well maybe someday a GOP candidate will finally turn away that wealthy hand trying to feed them.

The secret vote - withdrawing $150 billion dollars from SS on Friday night is one of the reasons the American people do not like the establishment. Now no news outlet reported this and yet it has gone viral - so the American citizens are becoming aware of it. This was passed by a vote of 64 senators - and I am sure going to find out which ones in my state voted for it and write to them. SS will never be solvent if we keep drawing out of it. We need an outsider - who will fight for the people.

Yes, this deserves a very hard look: Marco Rubio's H-1B Visa Support Deserves a Hard Look If you don't like that source, the story has been carried by other sources, lots of them.

Everyone knows you need lots of funding to have a chance to be elected POTUS. We all know how they get the funding with the exception of Trump. Even in our local elections, you have to be "dynasty" quality to have a chance. It is unfortunate.

If you want to elect a Social Democrat, will you also be willing to accept a Democratic Socialist tax system?

How Sweden and other Scandinavian and European countries fight inequality - regressive rather than progressive taxes

Pay close attention to the charts.

And Sweden also applies their top marginal income tax rate to the middle class, while the U.S. top marginal tax rate only applies to the top 1%:

The problem is that the national parties DNC and GOP are in business to push the candidates that will keep the money flowing. Any outsider that rocks the boat is a threat to be crushed. If they can't control them, they will defeat them.

I just saw an article that makes Rubio look like Kwame Kilpatrick: Marco Rubio spent lavishly on a GOP credit card, but some transactions are still secret | Miami Herald

This country would be hitting a new bottom if it was Rubio vs. Clinton, when both of them probably belong behind bars.

One who among other things helped her husband get away with decades of sexual abuse of women.

Or Trump...a man with the maturity and class of a 9th grade kid. A clown of a reality TV show host. One with a history of misogyny and who throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way. No better than Obama in that regard, and we certainly have seen way too much childish behavior from the White House for the last 7 years. Please, not again.

I want to like Carson. Smart, successful, and someone that is not a political insider. But sadly, I don't see it in him. I don't see the leadership persona that a president should be able to present (again, like Obama).

What's left? A ranting old socialist? 2 other absolutely clueless space fillers on the left? On the right...Cruz and Rubio don't look bad. Not stellar, but not bad. Far better than Trump or Clinton.

In a nation of 330 million or so people...is this really the best we can come up with? What is wrong with us?
I fully agree with everything you said. The choices we have are just pathetic. I really don't see any of them as presidential.
As usual, the partisans will see this as a sports match and so long as the other side loses, they really don't care about the problems with their own candidate. Which is precisely WHY we have such lousy choices and need to either clean up the two major parties or have an independant party that has a shot in hell in winning.
